We started in 2022 with a simple idea
We started in 2022 with a simple idea
It was a busy day in the bustling city of Kuala Lumpur and there was a networking event. Three individuals were huddled together and there was an exchange of name cards.
Em was carrying wine on one hand and a phone on the other, having to put down the wine, reaching into the pockets only to pull out large box of name cards.
Her thoughts started coming in "It's bulky to carry and They're always getting lost or forgotten, and they're just a waste of paper."
"Hmmm, they're not very personal. I want to be able to share more than just my contact information with someone when I meet them."
An idea then came to mind. Since there are already companies handling digital name cards, she knew that there are people capable of materialising her idea. She spent the next few months developing a prototype together with her team for their NFC digital name cards. Many trials with suitable web hosting were made, found the right fit where people could custom their own digital name cards through templates, with features like social media links, website links, and even a QR code that could be scanned to learn more about the person, in print on an NFC card to be kept in the wallet.
One Card to Rule Them All
Once her team were happy with the prototype, they launched their business. "NxCrd.me" was founded and they quickly started to gain traction. People loved the idea of having a digital name card that they could easily share with others.

Lau is the head of operations at NxCrd.me, oversees the company's workshop and manages a team of printing operators, graphic designers, and website designers. He has a deep understanding of the cards printing industry.
He is an experienced and passionate member of the team, ensuring that the workshop runs smoothly and that all orders are fulfilled on time. He also works closely with the design team to ensure that all cards meet the customer's specifications.
